We provide water cremation (aquamation) for pets, a gentle eco-friendly alternative to traditional burial or fire cremation. With a small carbon footprint and no greenhouse gas emissions, aquamation is a sustainable option that honors your values and your pet. You will receive your pet's powdered remains in an urn just as you would from fire cremation, as well as a handmade paw print and any other keepsakes you choose, all with minimal impact on the environment.

The owners and staff of the Cholla Afterlife Care Team are your neighbors. We will treat your pet as if she/he were our own. We will not freeze your pet, nor will we send your pet out of town for "processing". As a result, you will get your pet's powdered remains back from us (excluding specialty keepsakes) within 7 business days ... guaranteed. 

When calling other facilities or allowing your veterinarian to handle the next steps after your pet passes away, be sure to ask exactly where your pet will be sent for cremation and if they will be frozen. If you are not happy with the answer, call us. At Cholla Afterllife, your pet will receive quick compassionate care from a local team of animal professionals led by two veterinarians and a PhD. Our goal is to care for your pet AND YOU during this challenging time. 

We know your biggest concer: Will I get my own pet's remains back? As long as you choose Cholla Afterlife, then 100% you will! We developed our own Triple Tracking System to ensure you only get your pet's remains back. First we assign your pet an individual metal ID tag that travels with them throughout their journey. You will receive that exact ID tag with your pet's remains. We then assign your pet an individual internal QR tracking code so we can scan your pet in and out of each station to ensure that all of your wishes for your pet are met before they start their journey. Finally, we hand write every location where your pet spends time at Cholla Afterlife just in case electronics stop working. These organized and detailed steps allow us to guarantee that the powdered remains that we return to you are only those of your pet.

Hugs are given freely at Cholla Afterlife so when you come in to bring us your pet or to pick up your pet's powdered remains, or if we go to your home to pick up your pet, expect a hug! He was once blind and paralyzed, but now he helps every animal that comes to Cholla Afterlife prepare to start their journey to the Bridge. Thanks to him, no one feels alone here.
