Pickup Service
You are welcome to bring your pet to Cholla Afterlife after they pass away by scheduling a free drop-off appointment Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. Alternatively, Cholla Afterlife’s Care Team can pick up your deceased pet from any location. Prices are for one-way pickups within 10 miles of Cholla Afterlife. Add $2/mile over 10 miles.
Remembering Your Pet Through Old Souls Animal Rescue
Old Souls Animal Rescue and Retirement Home is a 501c3 nonprofit organization (EIN 27-2806988) located on five acres of beautiful Sonoran Desert in Picture Rocks, Arizona, just northwest of Tucson. Old Souls takes in homeless geriatric, special needs, and hospice animals from shelters, and provides them with a soft bed, pain management, nutritious food, and everything they need to enjoy their last chapter of life.
Old Souls is not open to the public due to the fragile conditions of many of the animals, but volunteers and donors are welcome by appointment. If you make a direct donation to Old Souls of at least $300, Cholla Afterlife clients are invited to spend one hour at Old Souls to meet the resident animals and to spread their pets’ powdered remains in the 3.5 acre memorial garden that they are currently developing.

Sprinkling Ceremony
Feeling closure after a pet’s passing is incredibly important not only for you, but also for your family and friends who loved your pet as much as you did. Cholla Afterlife is the only pet funeral home to offer a Sprinkling Ceremony in which you sprinkle your pet with a special healing blend of dried herbs and flowers to ensure them a safe and pain-free journey to the Bridge.
Fee includes pet preparation for the ceremony, fresh flowers, a blend of dried flowers and herbs for use in the ceremony and to take home, and non-alcoholic beverages for up to 8 guests.
