Dr. Paula is a compassionate animal welfare advocate with over 23 years of experience in animal welfare. As a Certified Pet Funeral Director and Bereavement Specialist, Paula brings expertise and empathy to every aspect of her work. She founded Cholla Afterlife, a member of the International Association of Pet Cemeteries and Crematories since 2019, and has been a driving force in the Marana Chamber of Commerce since 2022.

In addition to her dedication to afterlife care, Paula has spent 14 years running Old Souls Animal Rescue, where she provides hospice care for animals in need. Through her extensive experience, Paula has come to understand that death is a natural part of life, and she is committed to supporting pet owners through their grief. Paula believes that saying goodbye to a pet is not the end of their relationship, but rather a transition to a different form of connection. With Paula's guidance, pet owners can find solace and peace in honoring their beloved companions' memories.
