Sprinkling Ceremony

Feeling closure after a pet’s passing is incredibly important not only for you, but also for your family and friends who loved your pet as much as you did. 

Cholla Afterlife is the only pet funeral home to offer a Sprinkling Ceremony. You and up to 8 guests will sprinkle your pet with a beautiful blend of dried herbs and flowers to ensure them a safe and pain-free journey to the Bridge. It is believed that when you rub the flower/herb blend onto the parts of your pet that hurt them in life, it sets them free to run and play at the Bridge while they wait for you to arrive so you can cross together.

The flowers and herbs will not degrade in the aquamation process so they will forever be a part of your pet's powdered remains.

The Sprinkling Ceremony includes:

• Use of the Sprinkling Suite for 1 hour (plus set up and clean up) 
• Professional pet preparation for the ceremony (nail trim, fur/feather cleanup, etc)
• Ceremony conducted by Dr. Paula, a certified Pet Funeral Home Director and Pet Bereavement Specialist
• Fresh flowers
• A blend of dried flowers and herbs for use in the ceremony and to take home
• Non-alcoholic beverages for you and up to 8 guests.
• Each additional 30 minute use of the Sprinkling Suite costs $100.
