Sprinkling Ceremony - FREE when you bring your pet in person or have us pick up your pet at home

Feeling closure after a pet’s passing is incredibly important not only for you, but also for your family and friends who loved your pet as much as you did. 

Cholla Afterlife is the only pet funeral home to offer a Sprinkling Ceremony. You, your family, and your friends will sprinkle your pet with a special blend of dried herbs and flowers to ensure your pet a safe and gentle journey to the Bridge. It is believed that when you rub the flower and herb blend onto the parts of your pet that hurt them during life, it sets them free to run and play pain-free at the Bridge while they wait for you to arrive so you can cross together.

The flowers and herbs will travel with your pet on their journey - they do not degrade during aquamation. That means they will forever be a part of your pet's powdered remains, so a little bit of you goes with them.

The Sprinkling Ceremony is complementary for families that bring their pet in person to Cholla Afterlife and for families that choose to have the Cholla Afterlife Care Team pick up their pet at home.
